We work with a small number of organisations at a time. The shapes below are the most common ways an engagement begins. The longer one runs, the more it shapes itself to you.

Up to four hours. Suited to workshops, audits, and a first conversation.

For shorter, single-question work. Booked in advance.

Retainer
On request
For ongoing work across a quarter or longer. Day rates reduce when an engagement is committed for length.
Notes on the work
- Time
- Time is booked, not banked. Unused time within any day or retainer period is billed as scheduled. There is no rollover.
- Annual review
- Rates are reviewed each year and adjusted in line with the UK Retail Price Index.
- Out of hours
- Emergency and after-hours work is charged at twice the standard rate. The premium reflects the disruption of evenings, weekends, and urgent availability.
- Scope
- These rates cover our time only. Engagements that include software, AI tooling, intellectual property, or team expansion are quoted as a multiplier of the rates above, or as a fixed project cost, whichever is greater.
